terms & conditions

    • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your bridal artist.

    • 25% of the assisting artist(s) fee is non-refundable balance and due 6 months prior to the wedding day.

    • There is no minimum booking for services on a wedding day, however a booking fee of £380 will apply, in addition to service costs, to any booking that doesn’t include Bridal service.

    • Road travel to the wedding day venue for Harriet is charged at 0.60p*/per mile and 0.75p*/per mile for any assistant. Costs are worked out using the post codes provided on the initial enquiry form. [*Travel charges will be subject to change according to the cost of living if fuel prices increase by more than 10p per litre at the time of the wedding.]

    • Congestion, toll and parking charges will be charged accordingly, where necessary. Where possible, all excess charges will be made at the initial quote stage, however should any additional charges apply unexpectedly, these will be invoiced separately and require full payment within 24 hours.

    • Should a special request be made for the service start time to commence before 8am for any reason, accommodation [within 15 minutes of your location] is required to be provided or will be charged at £80, for the night before your wedding day.

    • Should the artists journey time be over 2 hours in one direction, accommodation [within 30 minutes of your location] is required to be provided or charged at £80 for the night before your wedding day.

    • Bridal Previews are scheduled Monday to Friday, 3 months in advance of your wedding day.

    • SOLO Service Time Slots are offered at 8am, 10:30am OR 2pm. You must allow 2 hours for a makeup only or hair only booking.

    • DUAL Service Time Slots are offered at 8:30AM or 1pm. You must allow 3 hours for a makeup only or hair only booking.

    • Saturday appointments are limited but available by special request and bookable only between November - March.

    • Time permitting, should your Bridal Preview exceed the allocated timings by more than 30 minutes an additional payment of £50 per hour will be invoiced once the service has been completed.

    • Previews are available for anyone obtaining a service on the wedding day and charged at £60 per person, per service. Previews are recommended, to avoid delays, if you suspect there may be a challenge in conducting the service for a particular person on the wedding day.

    • In the unfortunate event that you, or any of your bridal party, decide after your preview that you are not satisfied, please email Harriet - weddings@lucillenco.com within 12 hours so that any issues can be resolved.

    • Refunds will not be given on work that has already been carried out. All attempts will be made to ensure any concerns are rectified.

    • Should you change your mind on the look you have decided upon at your preview, a repeat appointment may need to be booked. Lucille & Co is not liable for the cost of an additional preview. Should this service not be scheduled by the client, Lucille & Co is within their right to cancel the booking entirely without refund of any payments already made.

    • Any changes to a booking, need to be made via email and by the bride only.

    • Additional Services: If a request is made to add services on to the booking after initial quotation:

      • all additional services are subject to any price changes from the original booking

      • services can only be accepted if time/resources allow, and are subject to any surcharges associated with altering your booking.

    • Reduction To Services: If a request is made to remove services from the original quotation after payment of the non-refundable deposit is made:

      • 12 months > 9 months of the agreed wedding date = 50% of the cancelled service fee still due.

      • 9 months > 6 months of the agreed wedding date = 75% of the cancelled service fee still due.

      • 6 months or less of the agreed wedding date = 100% of the cancelled service fee still due.

    • Postponement: Should you need to make alterations to the reserved wedding date the following will apply.

      • postponements that are made due to a government restriction, such as an enforced lockdown, will be transferred with the original booking fee on 2 occasions. Thereafter a new booking fee will need to be paid.

      • to secure a new date, due to postponement for personal reasons, a new booking fee will be required.

      • any booking that postpones to a different year will be subject to a yearly price increase, unless forced to do so under government guidance.

    • Cancelation: In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your booking entirely for any given reason:

      • 12 months > 9 months of the agreed wedding date = 50% of the balance still due.

      • 9 months > 6 months of the agreed wedding date = 75% of the balance still due.

      • 6 months or less of the agreed wedding date = 100% of the balance still due.

    • In the unfortunate event that there is a change in personal circumstances, including but not limited to health, between the time of booking and the wedding day, meaning the primary artist Harriet is unable to attend on the wedding day, an email will be sent to inform you of your options:

      • All efforts will be made to find an alternative stylist/artist to stand in, primarily from the recommended Lucille & Co Freelance Team Members.

      • Promote the booking on public forums such as Facebook and Instagram to source a subcontractor unknown to Lucille & Co to stand in.

    • In the event that you do not want to accept a replacement artist, on your primary response, you must notify Harriet in writing, acknowledging a request to break contract and a full refund (excluding money paid for work already carried out).

    • If a replacement artist cannot be found, monies (excluding money paid for work already carried out) will be fully refunded.

    • In the unfortunate event that there is a change in personal circumstances, including but not limited to health, between the time of booking and the wedding day, meaning the assisting artist(s) are unable to attend on the wedding day, an email will be sent to inform you of your options:

      • All efforts will be made to find an alternative stylist/artist to stand in, primarily from the recommended Lucille & Co Freelance Team Members.

      • Promote the booking on public forums such as Facebook and Instagram to source a subcontractor unknown to Lucille & Co to stand in.

    • In the unlikely event that a replacement assistant artist(s), cannot be booked:

      • Harriet will provide a start time of 5am to accommodate as many services as possible from the original booking.

      • Offer a refund on services that need to be forfeited.

    • Lucille & Co is not liable for the change in cost to any associated travel, due to change in the primary or assistant artist(s).

    • Lucille & Co reserves the right to cancel whole/part of any booking without a refund of the deposit and excluding monies paid for work already carried out, under the following conditions, including but not limited to:

      • the client is rude/uncooperative/makes it difficult to carry out work.

      • the client is booked under false pretenses i.e for an alternative event or other purpose.

    • Lucille & Co cannot be held accountable for delays or forfeited services on the wedding day, which are out of their control including but not limited to:

      • obstructions caused by other wedding vendors.

      • clients arriving late to begin our service.

    • In the event that one or more services are forfeited due to no fault of Lucille & Co, no compensation/refunds will be offered.

    • Every client must inform Lucille & Co of any known allergies/sensitivities/skin conditions before a services is carried out. This includes before an any Previews and afterwards if any reactions have been found.

    • Lucille & Co reserve the right to request any client to provide their own products should a known allergy or sensitivity void insurance cover.

    • Discounts cannot not be given on services if you wish to use any of your own product. If you choose to use any of your own products, Lucille & Co cannot be held liable for the performance and longevity of the service provided.

    • If a ‘Hollywood Wave’ style is chosen for the Bride, wedding day timings will need to be adjusted:

      • Should choosing this style mean the service start time needs to be adjusted to begin before 8am, accomodation terms will apply.

    • Harriet can be scheduled to remain on site for re-styling or touchups at a non-refundable rate of £50 per hour. Exact timings and location must be agreed upon prior to wedding day. Food and soft cold/hot drinks must be adequately provided if on site for more than 2 hours post bridal prep finish time.
